Jeremy's introduction

Founder of Sainha, I am passionate about helping impact-driven travel and hotel brands and organizations grow and transform.

I also co-founded Asia Sustainable Travel Briefing, a digital media network that serves up agenda-setting analysis & advice to Asia’s sustainability-led travel & hospitality professionals, executives and entrepreneurs.

An award-winning brand, marketing, and strategy communications expert recognized for combining forward-oriented visions, digital innovation, and entrepreneurial spirit to deliver substantial impact.

A multilingual leader with experience in advising over 50 global brands on China market entry strategy, strategic communications, marketing campaigns, and sustainability.

What brought you to sustainability?

Throughout my career in branding and marketing, I have had the fortune of working alongside many of the world’s greatest brands to deliver consumer engagement campaigns that change how people view and engage in some of our society’s pressing issues.

The climate emergency has stood out as the most existentially threatening issue to humanity.

The two climate disasters in 2020 - the devastating wildfires in my adopted home in the U.S. West Coast and once-in-a-generation floods in my native country Vietnam - hit home for me.

I felt called upon to play an active role in the climate action movement.

I founded a marketing agency Sainha with a mission to work with next-gen travel and hospitality brands and pivot businesses into a force of doing good. One year later, I co-founded a digital media network Asia Sustainable Travel Briefing to amplify the positive impact of travel through inspiring and informing our readers of ethical and sustainability-led practices and stories.

Which sustainable actions are you in charge of or have you implemented in your organisation?

I lead all business directions of my organizations from forming partnerships with other sustainability-led organizations to developing products to enable and amplify positive impacts.

Which challenges did you meet and how did you overcome them?

I've overcome fear of public speaking by constantly practicing and mastering my area of expertise. Sustainability and the urgency of Climate Change require us to voice up and I'm glad to be part of it.

What are you most proud of?

I have built a community of over 500+ sustainable travel entrepreneurs, storytellers, and investors in 12 months.
