Any topic listed in my profile and my journey.
Growing up, I was raised to not be wasteful (mostly because things cost money). As an adult, I became aware of my consumption habits of single-use items. It dawned on me that using something for a short while and then throwing it away just didn’t make any sense.
The more I learnt, the more I had to unlearn. In 2018, I started sharing my journey and learnings on my Instagram (@thisisaudsomee) to bring people along and shift mindsets.
The impact of my work goes beyond what I do within my own consultancy:
My work gets people to rethink their ways of working and being, and take actions that would better our society and the environment. It is a ripple effect!
Getting businesses to see sustainability as an opportunity instead of a cost.
Thankfully, my clients are those who have understood the "why" and not sure about the "how" — which is where I come in. I'm focusing my time and energy on supporting those who want the help, instead of trying to convert the ones who don't. In the meantime, I will continue sharing about the business case for sustainability.
I'm most proud of giving up a long-running career in the creative industry to start my own sustainability consultancy. With that, I dedicate my working hours to climate action and only take on work that aligns with my values.
