My primary interest lies in understanding how we can combine green and digital transformations to improve climate resilience. As a researcher, I am passionate about collective climate action. I am currently exploring solutions to enhance climate resilience and ensure a just transition through disruptive digital transformation and policies.
I am happy to share what I have learnt during my career as a researcher. I would love to help people who are interested in learning more about climate change and/or are looking to enter this domain. I am also happy to help youngsters understand the climate crisis better.
Climate change and its impacts have always been part of my studies. As such, I decided to enter sustainability in order to apply my skills and expertise to more real-life and hands-on scenarios.
As a consultant, I was in charge of raising awareness of green technologies and ESG reporting through feasibility studies and awareness training.
I have also previously volunteered at Plastic-Lite Singapore and was part of its Bounce Bags Initiative, where we encouraged communities to share reusable bags.
Engaging with stakeholders, either as a consultant or a volunteer, has been challenging. In order to ensure a diverse collection of responses, I have had to use multiple channels to reach out to stakeholders, including surveys, one-to-one calls, emails and even direct community interactions.
In my last project as a consultant, I focused on policy recommendations for a green hydrogen economy, which was the most exciting for me as it allowed me to combine research, policy analysis and technical analysis.
Working on my PhD has also been the highlight of my research career.
