I am a university lecturer turned sustainability consultant. While I was born in the States, I have lived in the green city-state of Singapore for over 17 years. I recently earned certification in ESG as well as AI - and look forward to applying what I learnt so far to enrich communities and companies alike.
I can share my expertise about UN SGDs, sustainability and ESG as well as stakeholder engagement and community outreach.
I initially taught about the political economy of development at a top university. Over time, I became increasingly interested in various aspects of development, including issues of sustainability and community engagement. I also tried to apply insights from the classroom by developing and leading several study abroad classes focused on UN SGDs and sustainability in the region, such as Laos, Vietnam, Thailand and Cambodia.
I taught classes on UN SGDs and sustainability for lots of enthusiastic students.
My biggest challenge is making sustainability relatable to the average, ordinary citizen. I tried to overcome this challenge by applying the concepts to real-world examples.
