I once had the chance to attend the worldwide summit of aeronautics logistics in Montreal. When the Ho Procurement of Bombardier at that time, challenged an entrepreneur offering sustainable material for aircraft by asking "why shall we care about recycled material when we are the biggest polluters?" : I had the "Declic". I had to join the biggest players to change the industry from inside.
I management the environmental roadmap of Waste and Water Management at european level for Airbus Defence & Space, covering all the production & office scope. Today, I offer a solution to divert waste from single use packaging to end up into landfills.
Human is by definition resistant to change, unless we see an individual and personal advantage to it. It's all about resilience, persuasion et data. Your case gets more complicating when the business case is not profitable, and it's not that often profitable on short term when you talk about sustainability.
Standing for my personal values.
