A good way to go further in your sustainability and "giving back" engagement is to propose and encourage pro-bono missions for NGOs.
You can do this in allowing a few days per year for your employees to volunteer (some of the ideas in the "Promote team building" solution above can be used).
Depending on your industry, you can organize some ideathons and hackatons for good to share new ideas for your company or community.
If need be, you may consider hiring a third party to organise it.

Our mission is to raise awareness about climate change as the defining problem of our time, and mobilize people into action. We believe that information precedes action, and that when people are empowered with enhanced knowledge, better decisions are made.
Our interactive and collaborative workshop is an entirely different way to learn about the science of climate change. The workshop is based on a 42 cards game based on the IPCC reports. In just 3 hours, participants gain a fundamental overview of climate change, the impacts it is having now and in the future, and what we can do about it.
